#Review - The Chick that couldn't Scratch by Mary Jean Kelso

The Chick that couldn't Scratch by [Kelso, Mary Jean]I love reading Children's books. They have such beautiful eye catching pictures that just require that I stop on each page to really admire the artwork. I found the pictures to be beautiful and fun in The Chick that couldn't Scratch. I think the little one in your life will enjoy the pictures as they read along.

I love the little Chick that is trying to find his place in the world. He was too small to venture out with his brother and sister when he was young. As he grows he was too big to get out to play however still too small to hang with the roosters. I love that he is growing and trying to find just where he belongs and what he needs to learn. It's a cute story with a nice story line. I think the little one in your life would enjoy this story and those fun pictures.

This is the first book I have had a chance to read by Mary Jean Kelso but I do see she has other books out there that look like great reads too. I think I would enjoy reading more of her books. I'm sure they are just as great as The Chick that couldn't Scratch and I certainly recommend picking this one up for the little young readers / listeners in your life.

I was given the opportunity to read this adorable book and it has been my pleasure to share my thoughts with you.
